Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer known as being a part of the group One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, created a band named White Eskimo with three fellow students. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. Although he has always been interested in the music world but despite his enthusiasm for it he wanted also to be a lawyer or physical therapist. Working part-time in a local bakery was his first occupation to make money for his family. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this is that his band was split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that was formed in the year the year 2010. The band performed songs such as My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the candidates for the prize. They came third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. However, Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco. Syco record label.
