Lee
Lee Roy Selmon's story is a mix of football scholarship for his family and service to his community. First family he is the youngest of nine children of Lucious the Jessie and Lucious Selmon raised on a farm at Eufala, Oklahoma. Two football. He was one of the three brothers that played for Oklahoma. Three of them were All-Americans. They made the All-America team in 1973. Lee Roy and Lucious Jr. Dewey were the first-teamers for the entire year. Lee Roy received the Outland and Lombardi Awards for being the top lineman from the USA. He won two championships and 31-1-1 during his three years as the Oklahoma's starting linebacker. Third scholarship he was named as a National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete in 1975. There was no doubt that the year 1982 was when the Junior Chamber of Commerce named Lee Roy among the top 10 young stars across the country. Lee Roy was 6'2" tall and weighed 265lbs during his time playing college football. The year 1975 was the first time he was on the team. group. In 1993, he became the assistant director of Athletics at University of South Florida. In 1988, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
